Software Development Engineer II, MAIT

Remitly Poland sp. z o.o. is hiring for the Marketing AI Team to enable AI transformation in the marketing organization by building a foundation layer for other products and tools. The engineering team is located in Kraków and works in a hybrid model with expectations to be in the office at least 50% of the time.

• At least 5 years of engineering experience.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language, preferably Go.
• Hands-on experience with data querying, manipulation, and interpretation.
• Fluency and experience with AI and LLMs.
• Independence to work solo and good judgment in collaboration.
• Strong passion for security.

Nice to have:

• Interest or experience with Rust or Zig.

• Own problems end to end, from understanding partner needs to shipping and maintaining production solutions.
• Make autonomous calls on architecture, tradeoffs, and priorities, defending decisions to partners with data.
• Work directly with people across the business to translate fuzzy requests into final products.
• Use AI tooling as a force multiplier while critically assessing its outputs.
• Analyze data for decision-making through querying and drawing robust conclusions.
• Grow as an engineer who is trusted to handle important projects.
