Senior Fullstack Developer, AppX

Remitly Poland sp. z o.o. provides trusted financial services to customers sending money globally, aiming to transform lives with reliable, secure money management solutions since 2011. The App Platform Engineering team builds and maintains foundational mobile and web platforms used by over 10 product teams, focusing on architecture, shared frameworks, CI/CD infrastructure, design systems, and developer tooling.

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience with 7+ years building products at scale, including platform or infrastructure work.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and familiarity with at least one of: Go, Java, Kotlin.
• Experience building shared platforms, frameworks, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong React Native knowledge including performance constraints, native bridge, and production-level debugging.
• Experience owning full mobile and web release lifecycles.
• Experience designing data layers between backend services and client apps, e.g., GraphQL, BFF patterns.
• Exposure to scalable design systems and building components adopted by product teams.
• Proven track record of onboarding teams onto platforms with good documentation and APIs.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Golang and Java

• Own the architecture and evolution of the mobile (React Native) and web platform relied on by 10+ product teams.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, feature flagging, and safe rollout infrastructure including app store delivery.
• Lead the shared component library, design system, and localization engine, setting standards for performance, accessibility, and observability.
• Enable product teams through documentation, tooling, and architecture reviews.
• Help the team stay current on React Native and AI-assisted development.
• Mentor junior engineers and uphold quality standards, including regulatory compliance.
