Senior IT Tester

Home journey is the full process a customer goes through when buying a home. This project involves working in a diverse, highly international environment with ambitious people, working agile to meet the unique needs of customers in the Mortgage domain.

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a senior tester with strong testing experience in the Mortgages domain
• Tester mindset with attention to detail, quality, and problem identification
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive attitude
• Experience in modern testing standards; ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a plus
• Manual testing skills including Functional, System & Integration, and API testing
• End-to-end testing experience
• Ability to work in an international, cross-country environment
• Good communication skills in English
• Willingness to learn and understand new tools and processes
• General testing knowledge at ISTQB Foundation Level
• Experience with test management tools (such as qTest, Xray, HP ALM)
• Experience in defining, executing, and reporting tests for complex software systems
• Experience working in Agile teams and practical use of Jira and Confluence

• Perform end-to-end testing of applications and surrounding ecosystems within the Mortgage domain
• Analyze requirements and design comprehensive test scenarios
• Create detailed test cases and execute manual functional tests across end-to-end workflows
• Identify, document, and track defects with detailed reproduction steps
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and perform retesting and regression testing
• Review functional requirements for completeness and testability; participate in refinement sessions
• Verify integration points between system components and validate data flow across applications
• Test third-party integrations from a functional perspective
• Work closely with business analysts, developers, and product owners
• Participate in agile ceremonies
• Communicate test progress and provide testing estimates
• Provide test status reports and quality metrics
• Assess release readiness and support user acceptance testing activities
• Plan and execute regression tests for each release
