Senior IT Tester

• 8+ years of experience as a senior tester with a strong mortgage domain background.
• Tester mindset with attention to detail, quality, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proactive attitude.
• Experience with modern testing standards; ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a plus.
• Manual testing skills including Functional, System & Integration, and API testing.
• E2E testing experience.
• Ability to work in an international, cross-country environment.
• Good English communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new tools and processes.
• General testing knowledge at the ISTQB Foundation Level.
• Experience with test management tools such as qTest, Xray, and HP ALM.
• Experience defining, executing, and reporting tests for complex software systems.
• Experience working in Agile Teams and practical knowledge of Jira/Confluence.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of automated API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, Cypress.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience testing microservices-based architectures.
• System testing of modern UI (Web/Mobile).

• E2E testing of applications and ecosystems within the Mortgage domain.
• Analyze requirements, design test scenarios, create test cases, and execute manual functional tests across end-to-end user workflows.
• Identify, document, and track defects with reproduction steps; collaborate with developers for issue resolution; perform retesting and regression testing.
• Review functional requirements for completeness and testability; participate in refinement sessions.
• Verify integration points between system components; validate data flow across applications and test third-party integrations.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product owners; participate in agile ceremonies; communicate test progress and provide testing estimates.
• Provide test status reports and quality metrics; assess release readiness and support UAT activities.
• Plan and execute regression tests for each release.
