Product Designer (UX/UI)

STX Next is a global IT consulting company specialized in customer-focused software services, employing around 500 professionals. This role involves working with a major UK-based client in the EdTech sector on a dynamic learning platform for teachers and students, focusing on creating engaging educational content for various age groups, especially younger learners.

Must have:

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking, product design process, and problem-solving.
• Proven experience leading product design projects independently from discovery to delivery.
• Strong understanding of UX methodologies, interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles.
• UI design skills to create clean, user-friendly interfaces.
• Experience working with Design Systems and scalable digital products.
• Proficiency in Figma, including components, Auto Layout, variables, and interactive prototyping.
• Experience collaborating with UX Researchers and applying qualitative and quantitative research insights.
• Experience using product metrics, analytics, or BI data to support design decisions.
• Strong analytical thinking regarding user needs, business goals, market trends, and competition.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in collaborative cross-functional teams.
• Professional English proficiency at C1 level, comfortable in an international environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience in the education sector or with EdTech products.
• Experience designing SaaS or complex digital products.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.

• Lead end-to-end design initiatives from product discovery to delivery.
• Translate user needs, business goals, research findings, and product strategy into intuitive user experiences.
• Design user flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces in Figma.
• Collaborate with UX Researchers for research planning, activities, insight synthesis, and product solutions.
• Work with BI and product analytics to identify opportunities and support data-informed design decisions.
• Analyze user needs, market trends, competitor products, and business requirements to inform product strategy.
• Design within and contribute to an established Design System ensuring consistency and scalability.
• Collaborate daily with Product Managers, Developers, QA Engineers, Researchers, BI Analysts, and stakeholders.
• Present design concepts, communicate rationale, gather feedback, and iterate based on user insights and priorities.
• Partner closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation of designs.

This role requires flexibility for some meetings in the afternoon to align with UK business hours. The position supports a remote model allowing work from anywhere in Poland.
