Business Applications Lead

• 8+ years working with business applications including SaaS administration of CRM, ERP/finance, HRIS, or ticketing platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong SaaS administration and configuration skills across multiple enterprise applications.
• Practical experience with integration and APIs, including SSO, data sync, and process orchestration.
• Vendor management experience including release management, renewals, and service-level oversight.
• Strong requirements-gathering skills to translate operational needs into testable application changes.
• Solid understanding of access controls, audit trails, and segregation-of-duties (SoD) compliance.
• Excellent communication skills to support and train non-technical users.
• Comfortable working with AI-assisted tools and open to AI literacy development.

Nice to have:

• Experience leading a small team of application specialists.
• Exposure to master-data management and data-governance practices.
• Relevant platform certifications (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, ServiceNow).

Application Portfolio Ownership:

• Administer and evolve the core business applications portfolio.
• Own configuration, release management, and vendor relationships.
• Translate operational requirements into well-scoped, tested application changes.

Integration & Data:

• Lead integrations such as SSO, data synchronization, and process orchestration.
• Partner with Master Data Management on master-data flows and quality.

Adoption & Support:

• Drive user adoption through training, documentation, and support.
• Promote well-governed ways of working across applications.

Security, Access & Compliance:

• Maintain access controls, audit trails, and segregation-of-duties compliance.
• Support internal and external audits with accurate evidence.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Application availability and incident volume.
• Change throughput and backlog burn-down.
• User satisfaction and adoption.
