Cloud Operations & Observability Engineer

• Extensive hands-on experience designing and managing enterprise-level observability and monitoring ecosystems using Splunk, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, preferably with active AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Proven experience with AWS CloudWatch and native AWS monitoring/governance tools.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation for observability-as-code.
• Demonstrated experience in platform operations.
• Interest or practical experience applying Machine Learning/AI to operational data (AIOps).
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate technical and business value to senior management.

• Audit and assess existing telemetry infrastructure, monitoring tools, and workflows to identify redundancies and inefficiencies.
• Design a unified, scalable roadmap for monitoring, observability, and proactive alerting.
• Implement cost optimization and tool rationalization for efficient cloud spend.
• Integrate Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIOps) for predictive alerting and automated incident response.
• Drive migration, consolidation, and optimization of the observability toolset.
• Define and promote Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) methodologies across operational teams.
• Transfer knowledge from external consultants and take ownership of observability roadmap and platform governance.
