Azure Engineer (Mid/Regular)

Benefit Systems International is part of the Benefit Systems capital group, operating in international markets including the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Turkey, and Croatia. They oversee the development of subsidiaries and provide business, legal, and IT consulting services.

• Fluent in all Azure environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Azure Bicep or similar tools.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure cloud services, including Azure Container Apps, Azure SQL Database, Azure Virtual Machines, and Azure Storage.
• Ability to deploy and manage Azure monitoring and logging services.
• Understanding of networking concepts (VNETs, NSGs, VPNs), identity services (Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC), and security best practices.
• Skilled in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with Zabbix.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role with significant exposure to Azure environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.

Nice to have:

• Experience deploying, managing, and optimizing applications using Azure Container Apps with understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with Azure Databricks for big data analytics.
• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) and/or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).

• Maintenance of Azure cloud-based infrastructure components such as Linux and Windows servers, Container Apps, EntraID, Azure Monitor, Azure SQL, Azure Virtual Desktop, Application Gateway + WAF, PowerShell (Runbooks), and Bicep.
• Management of M365 Online services including SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive, Intune, Autopilot, and Windows365.
• Designing, implementing, and overseeing CI/CD pipelines for various projects using Azure DevOps.
• Automating infrastructure provisioning and management using Azure Bicep.
• Improving the performance of operating system components and networks.
• Hardening of Windows and Linux servers.
• Implementing system security measures and utilizing Azure's advanced security tools.
• Monitoring and maintaining system performance to ensure reliability and scalability (e.g., using Zabbix).
• Staying current with Azure services and technologies to refine systems and practices.
• Providing technical support regarding M365, cloud infrastructure, and Azure services, including scheduled work after business hours.
• Developing proactive failure handling procedures.
• Creating, updating, and implementing procedures related to system support such as access granting and issue reporting.
