Technical Application Manager

Devire Outsourcing IT is a cooperation model for IT specialists based on self-employment (B2B), delivering projects for clients in innovative and modern financial services projects. The client operates in financial services including financing, leasing, insurance, and mobility solutions. The position is for a Technical Application Manager (TAM) to work for this client.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as TAM, DevOps or Platform Engineer.
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes (deployments, networking, troubleshooting) and experience with Tanzu platform or similar enterprise Kubernetes solutions.
• Familiarity with application servers: Tomcat, JBoss, ISS.
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems including terminal use, basic commands, 'vi' or similar editor, and bash scripting.
• Basic knowledge of Oracle databases.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS.
• Knowledge of tools including GitHub, Concourse CI, Postman, Splunk, Jira, and Confluence.
• Familiarity with ITIL methodology.
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level.
• Personal skills: independence, accuracy, teamwork (including international teams), communication, problem-solving focus, analytical skills, task prioritization, and advanced time management.

Technical Application Management:

• Manage applications in Kubernetes and Tanzu clusters.
• Verify configuration correctness including deployments, services, ingress, and config maps.
• Support deployments including CI/CD and release management.
• Analyze environmental problems such as connectivity and service configuration.
• Support Business Application Managers (FAO) in communicating technical strategy aligned with Enterprise Architect (EA).
• Act as a technical liaison facilitating cross-functional cooperation between business and IT units.
• Continuously research emerging technologies and propose changes as needed.
• Identify automation opportunities and analyze operational expenditures.
• Coordinate and supervise penetration and performance testing of products and systems.
• Collaborate with central and local IT roles such as Solution Architect and Enterprise Architect.
• Proactively update central system repositories (e.g., LeanIX).
• Verify Release Notes and CAB Instructions.
• Manage Service Cards and other documentation related to managed applications.
• Ensure technical management complies with internal regulations and processes.
• Implement new application versions in test environments.
• Analyze existing applications and systems to identify needed modifications and improvements.
• Lead continuous improvement of applications.
• Ensure technical optimization as required.
• Advise and support training for second line support (AMS).
• Ensure quality of delivered releases and awareness of software issues or delivery delays.
