Technical Application Manager/ DevOps Engineer

The role is within the automotive industry and involves managing and ensuring the stability of key business applications. The position requires collaboration with IT teams, business stakeholders, and architects to maintain quality, security, and efficiency of managed solutions.

• Experience as a Technical Application Manager, DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (deployments, networking, troubleshooting).
• Experience with Tanzu or other enterprise Kubernetes platforms.
• Familiarity with application servers (Tomcat, JBoss, IIS).
• Practical knowledge of Linux/Unix and basic Bash scripting.
• Basic knowledge of Oracle and networking concepts.
• Knowledge of cloud services, preferably AWS.
• Experience with tools: GitHub, Concourse, Postman, Splunk, Jira, Confluence.
• Understanding of ITIL and change and incident management processes.
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level.

Nice to have:

• Experience managing application budgets.
• Knowledge of LeanIX or similar architectural tools.
• Experience in Access & Identity Management.
• Certifications in Kubernetes, AWS, ITIL, or DevOps.

• Manage and oversee applications running in Kubernetes/Tanzu environments.
• Support deployments, release management, and CI/CD processes.
• Analyze and resolve application and environment issues.
• Act as technical owner of applications and recommend improvements.
• Participate in Change Management, Incident Management, and Release Management processes.
• Collaborate with architects, AMS teams, DevOps, and business units.
• Coordinate performance and security testing.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and compliance with internal processes.
• Support projects and plan application development.
