Principal Product Analyst

The Tripadvisor Group connects people to experiences worth sharing and operates multiple travel brands including Tripadvisor, Viator, and TheFork. The role is within the Tripadvisor experiences unit, focusing on data-driven product analytics to empower decision making.

• Significant experience in analytical roles such as Product Analyst, Data Science for Product, CRO, Digital Analytics, or Experimentation Analyst.
• Bachelor's Degree in analytical fields such as maths, economics, engineering, statistics, or computer science.
• Advanced skills in SQL, A/B Testing / Experimentation, Tableau, Looker, and Excel.
• Proactive leadership in analytics discussions driving change and shaping approaches.
• Knowledge and experience in product analytics covering A/B testing, conversion optimization, funnel, and feature analysis.
• Passion for customer focus, including segmentation and cohort analysis.
• Collaborative experience working with Product, Engineering, and Design teams.
• Strong critical thinking to analyze data and evidence to form rational judgments.
• Demonstrated leadership by applying best analytical practices and mentoring others.

• Lead analytics within the Product Analytics team and collaborate closely with the Product Pod to drive product improvements through data and insights.
• Lead experimentation and A/B testing analysis using an in-house system and mentor team members.
• Conduct funnel, feature, and cohort analyses to identify opportunities for improving customer experience.
• Provide insights that drive change either through A/B testing or product releases.
• Create reporting, analytics, and insight views to support Objectives and Key Results and help understand product, customer, and commercial performance.
• Guide others in analytics practices and foster customer segmentation and understanding.
