IT Manager

Footprint provides solutions that eliminate single-use plastics by designing and manufacturing biodegradable, compostable, and recyclable products using plant-based molded-fiber technology. The company is expanding its manufacturing operations in Poland.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7–10+ years IT experience including technical support, infrastructure, and operations.
• Experience leading IT service delivery in manufacturing or operational environment.
• Expertise with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft Defender, Windows desktop/server, and networking (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, 802.1x).
• Experience managing MSP/MSSP and external IT vendors.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for end-user devices, infrastructure, and peripherals.
• Experience documenting IT processes and driving standardization.
• Experience in global, matrixed organizations.
• Knowledge of IT security principles and compliance.
• Fluent in English and Polish.
• Valid sanitary and epidemiological clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with greenfield manufacturing facilities.
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and regulated environments.
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, ITIL, CompTIA, Cisco).
• Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms and enterprise AV/conferencing technologies.

Service Delivery & Operations:

• Own end-to-end IT service delivery for the Poland site, ensuring SLAs and user satisfaction.
• Monitor MSP service desk performance and ticket quality.
• Act as escalation point for complex incidents.
• Define and report on KPIs and service metrics.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Technical Support & Infrastructure:

• Provide hands-on support for onsite technology stack.
• Support network, server, Wi-Fi infrastructure, and conference room connectivity.
• Support Microsoft Teams Rooms and audiovisual systems.

Leadership & Coordination:

• Liaise between Poland facility and US IT leadership.
• Coordinate IT projects, deployments, and rollouts.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding IT processes.
• Drive standardization of IT processes and documentation.
• Provide future people leadership and mentoring.

Vendor & Asset Management:

• Manage MSP/MSSP relationships and enforce SLAs.
• Own hardware lifecycle and asset management.
• Coordinate local IT vendors and hardware suppliers.
• Support IT purchasing and budgeting.

Audit, Security & Compliance:

• Support audit readiness and remediation.
• Maintain documentation and change tracking.
• Ensure access control and security policy adherence.
• Partner with global security teams to enforce standards.

• This is an onsite role at the Poland manufacturing facility.
• Valid sanitary and epidemiological clearance is required.
