Engineering Manager - FE/Fullstack (Enabling Functions)

• 10+ years in software development with proven experience managing software engineering teams
• Track record of driving technical excellence and change
• Experience working in global teams distributed across multiple locations
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
• Experience with multiple methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, microservice architectures, and event sourcing
• Experience with automation, configuration management, multi-cloud and hybrid infrastructures, IAAS and PAAS
• Deep expertise in programming languages such as TypeScript, React, and Java
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, event-driven systems, and distributed computing
• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure), Docker, and Kubernetes
• Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and infrastructure-as-code
• Proven ability to design and build scalable mobile and web applications focusing on usability, performance, and responsiveness
• Ability to operate effectively in large, enterprise environments
• Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to influence technical teams and senior stakeholders
• High emotional intelligence and customer focus

• Conduct performance assessments, provide feedback, and guide career development for team members
• Mentor the development team to implement best practices, design principles, and coding standards
• Ensure processes and standards for high-quality software delivery
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape technical strategy and roadmap
• Define project scopes and timelines aligned with business goals
• Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and maintain alignment with enterprise standards
