Back End Engineer (Python & TypeScript)/Fullstack

ITFS is offering a 100% remote position as a Back End Engineer working with Python and TypeScript on interesting and development-oriented projects.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in backend software development in a similar role
• Very good knowledge of Python and TypeScript
• Experience with modern backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, Flask, NestJS
• Experience in designing and implementing APIs (REST and/or GraphQL)
• Good knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL and data modeling
• Experience with version control system Git
• Knowledge of best practices in testing, security, and code quality
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours (core hours 10:00-15:00 CET) and occasional afternoon/evening coordination due to US market collaboration
• Compliance with strict data security procedures (Clean Room / Data Room)
• English proficiency at least B2+/C1 level

Nice to have:

• Frontend experience with React.js and/or Vue.js
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Experience with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD tools
• Experience with event-driven systems
• Familiarity with application monitoring and observability tools
• Experience with artificial intelligence solutions and language models
• Openness to fullstack profile and experience with Node.js

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and services in a production environment
• Creating and developing APIs (REST, GraphQL) and integrations with external systems
• Designing application architecture, data models, and solutions for high performance and reliability
• Collaborating with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver new functionalities
• Optimizing application performance, diagnosing issues, and fixing bugs
• Creating and maintaining automated tests and ensuring code quality
• Participating in code reviews and co-creating programming standards
• Supporting CI/CD processes and application deployments
