C++ Software Engineer

Motorola Solutions Systems Polska develops video camera solutions for public safety and security, creating technologies that support critical communications and services for firefighters, police officers, and other safety professionals.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
• Strong C++ programming skills (experience with C++17/C++20, multithreading, and concurrency is a plus)
• Experience with scripting languages, especially Python
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Understanding of software engineering best practices including build environments and automated testing
• English proficiency allowing efficient communication

Nice to have:

• Experience with embedded application development in a Linux environment for ARM target processors
• Knowledge of operating system concepts including processes, threads, mutexes, interrupt handling, and exception handling
• Knowledge of digital imaging/photography, audio/video coding, and video streaming
• Experience with TCP/IP and network programming
• Experience with microservice architecture

• Implement advanced software modules that follow modern C++ design patterns
• Maintain and improve build system using Make, CMake, Python, and Docker
• Peer review code for adherence to best practices, design guidelines, and coding standards
• Ensure code coverage using automated testing frameworks and test suites built with Python
• Create design documents on software architecture and algorithms
