Senior It Tester

• 8+ years of testing experience with a background in the Mortgages domain
• Manual testing skills including Functional, System & Integration, and API testing
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Proactive mindset with attention to detail and quality
• Experience in modern testing standards
• General testing knowledge at ISTQB Foundation Level
• Experience in test management tools such as qTest, Xray, or HP ALM
• Experience defining, executing, and reporting tests for complex software systems
• Practical experience working in agile teams using Jira and Confluence
• Good communication skills in English
• Willingness to learn and understand new tools and processes

Nice to have:

• ISTQB Foundation Level certification
• Knowledge of automated API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or Cypress
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience testing microservices-based architectures
• Experience with system testing of modern UI (Web/Mobile)

• Perform E2E testing of applications and surrounding ecosystems within the Mortgages domain
• Analyze requirements and design comprehensive test scenarios
• Create detailed test cases and execute manual functional tests across full end-to-end user workflows
• Identify, document, and track defects with detailed reproduction steps
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and perform retesting and regression testing
• Review functional requirements for completeness and testability
• Participate in refinement sessions and ensure acceptance criteria are clear and testable
• Verify integration points between system components and validate data flow across applications
• Test third-party integrations from a functional perspective
• Work closely with business analysts, developers, and product owners
• Participate in agile ceremonies and communicate test progress
• Provide test status reports and quality metrics
• Assess release readiness and support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities
• Plan and execute regression tests for each release
