Senior Test Engineer

Sigma Software is hiring a Senior Test Engineer to work on a cutting-edge social shopping platform that blends e-commerce with social networking, used globally by millions of fashion enthusiasts. The role is part of the Mobile & Web Solutions department and involves collaborating with product and customer-side teams to apply Quality Assistance practices.

• 4.5+ years of QA experience with full ownership of testing processes
• Strong exploratory testing skills beyond scripted test cases
• Experience testing mobile apps on iOS and Android, including release processes
• Ability to work autonomously across multiple cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with Agile workflows, feature flags, and staged rollouts
• Strong requirements analysis skills, including clarifying edge and corner cases
• Comfortable with context switching and supporting multiple teams simultaneously
• Proficient in SQL with ability to write moderately complex queries
• Hands-on experience with API testing of REST APIs using tools like Postman
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, cookies, caching, and browser behavior
• Experience deploying builds via Android Studio, Xcode, or similar tools
• Practical experience with Git for branching, commits, code reviews, and pull/merge requests
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher

• Collaborate as part of the product development team with customer-side developers
• Follow and support the Quality Assistance process
• Plan and estimate testing activities
• Create and maintain test documentation
• Design and execute manual, snapshot, and UI tests for new features
• Perform functional, regression, and compatibility testing on web and mobile platforms
• Conduct release validation, smoke testing, and post-deployment quality checks
• Provide clear and regular status and progress reports
• Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and development teams to ensure product quality
