QA Engineer

Univio is a digital commerce transformation partner with over 25 years of experience and nearly 500 projects completed. They assist clients like mBank, Super-Pharm, SIG, Bakalland, Onninen, and Volkswagen Group Polska by implementing innovative e-commerce solutions, PIM systems, B2B and B2C portals, advanced UX, and integration systems. The team "MachArena" executes IT architecture implementations based on MACH principles, focusing on composable architecture, microservices, APIs, Cloud, and Headless solutions for diverse industries including transport, furniture, medical, insurance, recruitment, and publishing.

• 2–4 years of commercial experience as a QA Engineer.
• Ability to write automated tests in TypeScript and knowledge of the Playwright framework or willingness to develop skills in this area.
• Experience testing REST APIs using tools like Postman or Insomnia.
• Skills in verifying API contracts and working with scenarios involving variables and parameters in test collections.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD processes and collaboration with developers to run automated tests.
• Communicative, precise, and able to work within project teams.
• English proficiency at minimum B1+/B2 level.
• Independence in conducting tests and willingness to share knowledge.
• Regular use of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot in daily work.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Docker, e.g., running test environments or local services.
• Experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 guidelines and accessibility testing.
• Basic knowledge of application security concepts.

• Conduct manual testing in dynamic project environments.
• Develop and maintain automated API and UI tests using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Prepare and execute test scenarios and test cases.
• Report, analyze, and classify defects, supporting the team in their verification.
• Participate in test planning, estimations, and requirements reviews.
• Collaborate with QA teams and developers to integrate tests into CI/CD processes.
• Analyze application logs using tools like Kibana to diagnose issues.
• Prepare and manage test data for selected test cases.
• Collaborate with the team to test processes within complex application ecosystems.
• Influence the development of test strategies, tool selection, and QA process improvements.
