HSBC Technology Poland provides technology solutions for Global Banking and Markets. The Counterparty Credit Risk IT team manages technology for exposure calculations for thousands of HSBC clients globally. The team is building a next-generation Counterparty Credit Risk Engine involving migration to Cloud platforms with microservices using Java SE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Apache Beam, Apache Flink, GCP, Redis, REST APIs, Ansible, and Jenkins. The Krakow engineering team is responsible for development and maintenance of microservices for Counterparty Credit Risk as part of a long-term European platform strategy.
Wymagania
- Solid knowledge of Counterparty Credit Risk methodologies and risk measures like Potential Future Exposure (PFE), Credit Value Adjustment (CVA), and Risk Weighted Asset (RWA).
- Excellent written and spoken English, able to communicate comfortably in a full English environment.
- Excellent analytical capabilities and quick learning ability with adaptability to new disciplines and projects.
- Good understanding of Agile processes and techniques.
- Ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications understandable by engineers.
- Ability to provide innovative solutions to complex business problems.
- Knowledge of financial instruments across various asset classes such as FX, Rates, and Credit.
- Knowledge of Basel III regulations.
- Experience in Agile project delivery and ability to work proactively under pressure and deadlines.
Obowiązki
- Work with business and Transformation teams to gather, review, and optimize business requirements.
- Produce detailed specifications for engineering teams to deliver business requirements.
- Bridge and minimize the gap between business teams, product owners, engineering, and end users throughout the project lifecycle to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with internal control standards and external regulatory requirements.
- Acquire and maintain knowledge in various areas of Counterparty Credit Risk.
- Actively participate in team mentoring, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
