Scala Developer

Scalo is developing a modern SaaS platform in the cloud contact center and customer communication area. The position involves working with international R&D teams and developing AI-driven features integrated via APIs.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Proficient programming skills in Python and Scala
• Knowledge of good practices in testing, version control, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies
• Experience designing and developing scalable backend systems
• Experience integrating external services via API
• Fluent English communication skills (minimum B2/B2+)

Nice to have:

• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLM) and Generative AI solutions
• Knowledge of AI transcription models (speech-to-text)
• Experience with Elasticsearch
• Integration of AI services via APIs
• Knowledge of PHP
• Experience with cloud AI services on AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Develop and design scalable backend services using Scala and Python
• Participate in the development of a modern cloud contact center SaaS platform
• Integrate internal and external AI services via APIs (including LLM and similar platforms)
• Build efficient, reliable, and scalable backend solutions in a cloud-native environment
• Collaborate with international R&D teams in an English-speaking environment
• Contribute to development and automation of modern services
• Influence product development and technical architectural decisions
• Work remotely with modern AI technologies and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
