Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Our client is a family-owned German company with over 75 years of experience in excellent technology and unique audio experiences. You will be part of building the new R&D Team in Poznań and have a considerable influence on the technology department and the creation of new solutions. The company focuses on embedded wireless audio platforms and works closely with cross-functional teams including electronics, Audio DSP, RF, and transmission systems.

• Minimum 2 years experience in embedded software development for RTOS.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science or related technical field.
• Solid knowledge of C/C++ for embedded software.
• Experience with ARM Cortex M-profile processors.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to implement modular, reusable, robust, and integrable code.
• Experience with development tools like GitHub, Azure DevOps.
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams.
• Strong documentation skills and clear communication of engineering intent.
• Proficiency in English for international collaboration.
• Experience in firmware development for battery powered devices.

Nice to have:

• Practical knowledge of FreeRTOS or Zephyr operating systems.
• Experience with wireless interfaces and their stacks.
• Experience in software stacks development and maintenance.

• Develop and implement embedded software solutions according to the requirements.
• Collaborate closely with hardware teams for seamless integration.
• Deliver high-quality embedded software aligned with project goals.
• Ensure embedded software components are reliable and efficient.
• Perform software debugging and analyze test results.
• Prepare unit tests for developed code.
• Conduct code reviews of team-developed code.
• Support software and system architects in development planning and time estimation.
