• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.

• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.

• Develop and implement global category strategies aligned with company procurement goals.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, analyze market trends, and assess supplier performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers; negotiate contracts and terms.
• Lead sourcing and procurement processes including supplier identification, bidding, evaluation, and selection.
• Monitor and analyze category costs; implement cost reduction strategies while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with departments such as operations, finance, and product development to align procurement strategies.
• Identify and assess risks within the category and develop mitigation plans.
• Establish and track KPIs like cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement efficiency.
