Senior Data Modeller (Python)

Lumicode Sp. z o.o. belongs to the Pentacomp Group, a producer of IT solutions and provider of professional IT services for large enterprises and the public sector. The role is for a client in the banking industry.

• Very good knowledge of data modeling and solution design.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and practical experience with relational databases.
• Good knowledge of Python.
• Experience in data integration, transformation, and mapping between multiple systems.
• Knowledge of API, system integration, and process modeling.
• Experience in ensuring data quality, consistency, and governance compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience collaborating with business and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Very good command of spoken and written English.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Kafka.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Knowledge of Java.
• Understanding of Data Warehouse / DWH concepts and architecture.
• Experience using AI tools for documentation, testing, data analysis, or development support.
• Experience in banking, financial, or regulatory reporting sectors.
• Knowledge related to credit risk, ratings, or financial reporting data.

• Design, develop, and maintain data models supporting credit and financial data processes.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Define and manage data mappings between multiple systems to ensure correct integration and transformation.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, traceability, and auditability across solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams on end-to-end solution design.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and functional specifications.
• Support process optimization and automation using AI tools.
• Participate in deployments, testing, and continuous improvement activities.
