Wymagania
- Over 10 years of experience in flood modelling and flood risk assessment.
- Significant experience with hydraulic modelling software such as Flood Modeller and/or TUFLOW.
- Experience with hydrological assessments using FEH and REFH2.
- Demonstrable project experience in UK and Ireland.
- Strong GIS skills using QGIS, ArcGIS, and/or MapInfo.
- Experience with additional modelling software like Mike 11 for flood forecasting or water quality is advantageous.
- Fluent in English, both oral and written.
Nice to have:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Civil, Environmental or Water Engineering or related field.
Obowiązki
- Lead estimation of flood flows following established methodologies from the Flood Estimations Handbook.
- Develop and check hydraulic models using software such as Flood Modeller, TUFLOW, HEC-RAS, and InfoWorks ICM.
- Produce and review high-quality technical reports documenting model build processes and uncertainties.
- Conceptualise and scope modelling and hydrological approaches considering risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and technical specialists on fluvial, coastal, surface water, and drainage flood risk management projects.
- Mentor team members to support their professional development.
- Manage projects using AECOM’s project management systems ensuring delivery on time and budget.
