EV (Electric Vehicle) Backend Product Lead

We build and maintain the cloud systems that support Toyota’s digital systems and mobility solutions. Our work supports multiple applications used for in‑car multimedia services, EV charging platforms, factory digitalization, data‑driven projects and online sales technologies. By ensuring continuous service availability and integrating key tools, we enable teams across Europe to develop and operate digital solutions reliably.

• Analytical, detail‑oriented, and accurate with strong critical thinking.
• Clear written and verbal communication; effective meeting facilitation.
• Team player able to work in high performance environment.
• Comfortable discussing APIs, databases, logging, and monitoring for effective coordination with engineering teams.
• Proficient with Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, and Office 365 (Teams, Outlook).
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD concepts.
• Skills in process modelling and workflow analysis.
• Basic data analysis and visualization capabilities.
• Fluent in English.
• Eager to learn and work with new technologies.

• Act as primary contact between Customer Support, Development, Operations, and business stakeholders.
• Understand business requirements for energy business products including Private charge and V1G.
• Map these requirements to current and future Energy business products within EV Backend.
• Maintain and improve the current Toyota Home Charge solution.
• Manage requirements from a TME point of view towards suppliers (Customer Support, New products development).
• Understand overall architecture of solutions and dependencies with other systems in TME landscape.
• Continuously monitor stakeholder needs and propose improvements to TME management.
• Analyse data and share concrete action plans in regular reports to higher management.
• Follow up on rollout of new functionalities.
• Improve overall quality and performance.
