Data Analyst

• 5-10 years of relevant work experience.
• Proven experience working with large data sets and professional proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with databases such as Snowflake, Oracle, and MS SQL.
• Ability to define and document data structures and ETL flows across applications.
• Good knowledge of accounting and balance sheet structures, including various financial instruments.
• Ability to document metadata including data origins, assumptions, and regulatory obligations.
• Ability to drive discussions with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and obtain formal sign-off.
• Working proficiency in Jira.
• Skills in utilizing AI for efficiency and new use cases.

Nice to have:

• Good understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and quality expectations (e.g., CRR, BCBS239).
• Proven track record in creating reporting IT solutions with various technologies, databases, reporting tools/BI tools, and calculation engines producing regulatory metrics.

• Collect, analyze, harmonize, and validate large data sets across multiple source systems.
• Design, document, and maintain data structures, data mappings, and ETL flows.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and traceability to support regulatory reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document requirements, ensuring formal sign-off.
• Analyze financial and accounting data, including balance sheet structures and financial instruments.
• Create and maintain metadata documentation, including data lineage, sources, assumptions, and reporting obligations.
• Support the functional design of end-to-end data and reporting solutions, including controls and reconciliation processes.
• Work with SQL databases (e.g., Snowflake, Oracle, MS SQL) to extract, transform, and analyze data.
• Utilize AI tools to improve efficiency and identify opportunities for process automation and innovation.
• Manage tasks and collaborate within Agile teams using Jira.
