GCP DevOps Engineer

Codelab is a Polish software house supporting clients in software development, product development, and testing. They work on projects in the automotive, Industry 4.0, telecommunications, and finance sectors. The team employs diligent engineers focused on quality, transparency, and knowledge sharing. The role is within a mature Scrum team of 5-10 people working on an advanced project in the medical sample analysis sector, developed for several years with high technical complexity and many dependencies.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Communicative English skills (minimum B2 level) in speech and writing.
• Experience with GCP ecosystem services including GKE Standard, Google Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL, Artifact Registry, Secret Manager, IAM and service accounts, and Cloud DNS.
• Practical knowledge of load balancing, Gateway, ingress networking, and configuration of VPC, NAT, and private connectivity.
• Ability to plan resource quotas for processors and high-memory nodes.
• Proficiency with Helm deployment, storage management, databases, registries, secrets management, licensing, job execution, logging, and result retrieval.

• Maintain and support the existing Google Cloud Platform cloud solution, including bugfixing and reconfigurations.
• Design and configure new components in the Google Cloud Platform cloud infrastructure.
• Actively participate in cross-functional Scrum team activities to ensure the stability of medical data processing systems.
