Senior Cloud Platform Engineer

Wyden AG operates in the digital assets industry and provides a platform managing over 20+ live environments. The Senior Cloud Platform Engineer is the AWS architecture authority within the Customer Success & Operations team, reporting to the Head of Run. The role is positioned as a senior technical leadership individual contributor, responsible for infrastructure architecture and DevOps standards in production operations.

• Proven AWS expertise with hands-on production experience across services such as EKS (Kubernetes), Aurora/RDS, Lambda, VPCs, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, Route 53, and networking services including VPN, PrivateLink, Transit Gateway
• Senior-level Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform and Terragrunt, writing modular and reusable IaC at scale
• CI/CD pipeline design and ownership with tools like GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline
• Deep Kubernetes operations experience including EKS cluster design, workload deployment, scaling, upgrade management and troubleshooting
• Strong scripting and automation skills with Python, Bash, or equivalents
• Experience owning monitoring and observability stacks including CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have:

• Professional AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
• Experience in SaaS or multi-tenant platforms
• Background in financial services or regulated industries with familiarity of compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2
• Platform migration experience including provisioning, data migration tooling, validation, and cutover management
• Networking depth with AWS VPN, Direct Connect, PrivateLink, Transit Gateway
• Experience mentoring or leading junior engineers
• Deep database operations expertise with Aurora/RDS including backup, recovery, performance tuning
• DevSecOps experience with security scanning, compliance automation, secrets management (AWS Secrets Manager, HashiCorp Vault), infrastructure security hardening
