Software Engineer - Web Platform (AppShell)

• Solid experience developing web-based software with JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Strong academic background in Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals, core Web APIs, HTML, and CSS.
• Good knowledge of React and modern front-end development practices.
• Genuine interest in accessibility and developing software usable by everyone.
• Thoughtful engineering approach considering trade-offs and maintainability.
• Hands-on team player with excellent communication, problem-solving, self-organization, and analytical skills.
• Practical understanding of AI tools and their effective everyday use.
• Curiosity and willingness to continuously learn.

Nice to have:

• Experience designing APIs or libraries for other developers.
• Experience building platforms, SDKs, micro-frontends, or plugin systems.
• Experience with Node.js tooling, modern build systems, or monorepo setups.
• Hands-on experience with Java / Spring Boot backend services.

• Design and ship platform-level features end-to-end, including testing and release.
• Help shape APIs ensuring backward compatibility and clear contracts.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, design decisions, and code reviews.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using TypeScript and React.
• Focus on web fundamentals such as semantic HTML, CSS, accessibility, and performance.
• Collaborate closely with a team of engineers to deliver software end-to-end.
• Work on architecture supporting isolated apps for multiple teams, ensuring security and reliability.
