Junior/Mid Software Tester - Financial Services

The role is within a large team delivering solutions for corporate and enterprise clients in the financial services sector. The position involves working in an international environment collaborating with business stakeholders, analysts, developers, and testing teams to support financial industry solutions.

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Software Tester or in a similar testing-related role.
• Practical experience in planning and/or coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Good understanding of software testing processes and methodologies.
• Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and at least one test management tool (e.g., TestLink, Xray, TestRail, QMetry).
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• Ability to select appropriate testing techniques based on project needs.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to understand and connect business and technical perspectives.
• English language proficiency at least at B1 level.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of financial services products and business processes (banking, insurance, investments).
• Experience with log and error analysis tools, such as Kibana.
• Experience with test automation tools, including Selenium, PyTest, Cucumber, or Cypress.
• Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) concepts and Gherkin syntax.

• Creating test cases based on functional and technical documentation, including High-Level Design documents and User Stories.
• Designing and executing exploratory testing activities.
• Performing testing of web applications, mobile applications, ETL processes, and integrated systems.
• Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Reporting test results and providing recommendations regarding deployment readiness.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders, business analysts, developers, and international project teams.
• Selecting appropriate testing techniques depending on project requirements, including migration, integration, performance, and end-to-end testing scenarios.
• Supporting test planning and coordination activities.
