Senior/Lead Data Analyst

Antal employs over 130 professional recruitment consultants who specialize in specific sectors and roles, supporting candidates throughout the recruitment process.

• 2-5 years of experience in roles such as Mapping Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Scientist or similar senior positions.
• Strong experience in agile delivery environments including Scrum, Kanban, or Spotify-inspired models.
• Proven ability to engage business and data stakeholders to capture business definitions, source data semantics, and transformation logic.
• Experience working closely with data engineers, solution architects, information architects, and product owners in data platform or analytics environments.
• Solid understanding of data platforms, data warehousing and lakehouse concepts, Business Intelligence solutions, and data transformation patterns.
• Experience with data profiling tools (e.g., Databricks or similar).
• Knowledge of data quality frameworks, data governance, data cleansing, and master data management.
• Preferred knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
• Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure is a plus.
• Software development experience is advantageous.
• Exposure to logistics, supply chain, or transport domains is beneficial.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

• Support squads in complex data analysis and stakeholder-related challenges, resolving ambiguities in source data, definitions, and ownership.
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams to improve collaboration across data and engineering functions.
• Validate and challenge data requirements and mappings to align with enterprise data platform objectives and business strategy.
• Collaborate closely with solution architects, information architects, business analysts, subject matter experts, product owners, and squad leads to ensure coherence and data quality.
• Perform in-depth data profiling and analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and inconsistencies.
• Develop and execute data validation and verification processes to improve data integrity.
• Create detailed reports, documentation, and visualizations communicating profiling results and business insights.
