Level Designer

They are known for franchises like Call of Juarez and Dying Light, focusing on open-world action, storytelling, and community engagement.

• Passion for making games.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Level Designer or one published AAA project.
• Ability to design engaging, understandable, and aesthetically credible game environments with diverse gameplay.
• Good knowledge of any editor such as Unity, Unreal, RedKit, Cryengine, RoadHog, or Techland's proprietary DevTools.
• Problem-solving skills, especially for indirect player guidance techniques.
• Good sense of gameplay balance between enjoyment and challenge.
• Willingness to develop level design technology and engine.
• Ability to work collaboratively.
• Openness to share knowledge and think creatively.
• Good knowledge of English.

Nice to have:

• Experience as a Quest Designer.
• Basic knowledge of architecture.
• Artistic skills such as drawing, painting, or modeling.

• Co-create and transform the project vision into playable environments, implementing and adapting game mechanics such as enemy AI, combat systems, and player interactions.
• Create and populate elements of open-world gameplay including encounters, activities, population, and AI life.
• Cooperate closely with specialists from art, programming, design, audio, animation, and other areas.
• Test levels for bugs and gameplay issues, gather feedback from team members and players, and apply improvements.
• Create and maintain documentation related to levels and gameplay.
