Software Engineer I

• Demonstrated curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies and approaches
• Strong coding skills with a solid understanding of algorithms and data structures
• Experience building and operating production software with attention to testing and quality
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, scalable service patterns, and common web/backend frameworks
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and deliver measurable outcomes

• Design simple, robust solutions for large-scale problems in an agile environment
• Write clean, maintainable code focused on performance and reliability
• Own features end-to-end: design, implementation, testing, and production support
• Communicate clearly and incorporate feedback from engineers, product managers, and operators
• Practice disciplined testing and code reviews; champion quality
• Identify and remove bottlenecks in systems and processes
• Deliver scalable, fast, and resilient web and backend services handling large datasets
• Implement new features and optimize existing functionality
• Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to define requirements and iterate on user feedback
• Own quality end-to-end including unit/integration tests, code reviews, and production monitoring
• Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes
