AI / LLMOps Engineer

Rossmann is hiring for an AI / LLMOps Engineer to work on scalable agent platform architecture focusing on GCP services, AI agents, and MLOps technologies. The role emphasizes collaboration with developers, data scientists, and data engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Experience in production deployment of GenAI/AI agents (LLM, RAG, multi-agent); practical experience with Google ADK or comparable frameworks (LangGraph, LlamaIndex, AutoGen) is welcome
• Knowledge of GCP, especially Agent Platform (Agent Engine, Vector Search, Pipelines), BigQuery, Cloud Run, Artifact Registry, IAM
• Proficiency in Python and its ecosystem for GenAI/ML (google-cloud-aiplatform, Google Gen AI SDK, Kubeflow Pipelines)
• Understanding of MLOps/AIOps principles and designing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Experience in creating Docker images and deployments; knowledge of Bash, Helm, and Kubernetes (GKE) is a plus
• Awareness of regulatory requirements (EU AI Act, RODO) and LLM security
• Communication skills with the ability to explain complex architectures to technical and business stakeholders

• Design, document, and develop scalable agent platform architecture on GCP focusing on security, performance, and costs
• Expand environment provisioning
• Build developer tools including Python ADK templates, Azure DevOps pipelines, and Agent Registry with metadata
• Implement and develop evaluation and observability layers for agents
• Implement RAG using Vertex AI Vector Search and ingestion pipelines as well as Tool Registry with MCP servers for Rossmann systems
• Maintain existing MLOps platform emphasizing reuse of patterns between platforms
• Collaborate with developers, data scientists, and data engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions
