Founding Engineer

TechTree is an early-stage startup based in Warsaw building a product people use every day. The role involves working directly with the founders and owning technical decisions.

• Strong engineering fundamentals with full-stack experience.
• Experience building products from 0 to 1.
• Startup experience with high ownership and fast iteration.
• Backend leaning but comfortable working across the stack.
• Interest in machine learning or ML-oriented thinking.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities.
• Able to work hybrid in Warsaw.

Nice to have:

• Previous founding engineer or early engineer experience.
• Experience working directly with founders or users in product shaping.
• Experience building ML-powered product features.
• Product sense beyond implementation, considering what to build.

• Build product features end-to-end, including backend and frontend.
• Take ownership of technical decisions independently.
• Support 0-to-1 product development in an early-stage startup.
• Contribute to machine learning-related product features when needed.
• Collaborate closely with the founding team to define product scope and implementation.
• Move quickly, iterate, and ship in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
