Product Owner

Symphony Solutions is a Cloud- and AI-driven technology company headquartered in the Netherlands, delivering world-class services and innovative products. They have a global remote-first presence spanning over 20 countries and are a premier software provider of custom Airline, Healthcare, iGaming, E-learning, e-Commerce, and Supply Chain solutions. The role is part of a project at BetSymphony to develop a cutting-edge gambling platform serving multiple brands in the online gambling industry.

• 3+ years experience as a Product Owner or Senior Business Analyst in a software product environment.
• Proven ability to write clear, well-structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Experience managing and prioritising product backlog in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience in iGaming domain including PAM, sportsbook, casino, payments.
• Strong analytical thinking to decompose complex business requirements.
• Facilitation skills for workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discovery sessions.
• Comfortable working closely with engineering and discussing technical trade-offs without coding.
• Familiarity with API-driven products and ability to read API documentation.
• Active, proven use of AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Notion AI) in daily work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+).
• Self-organised, proactive, and comfortable in a distributed, multicultural team.

Nice to have:

• Experience on SaaS or productised platform projects.
• Experience collaborating on UI/UX providing structured feedback on wireframes and flows.
• Experience defining KPIs and reporting requirements for data and reporting products.

• Own and maintain the product backlog for an assigned functional area of the BetSymphony platform.
• Write and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements understandable by engineering teams.
• Prioritise backlog aligning with platform roadmap, operator needs, and business value.
• Use AI tools daily for drafting requirements, summarising sessions, generating documentation, and analysing trade-offs.
• Facilitate requirement workshops and discovery sessions with internal and client stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, and architecture teams throughout the sprint cycle.
• Validate delivered features against acceptance criteria and provide clear feedback.
• Maintain clear product documentation in Confluence.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies: backlog refinement, sprint planning, review, and retrospective.
• Communicate clearly on scope, priorities, and blockers with wider product and delivery teams.
