Backend Java Developer

LinkGroup is hiring a Backend Java Developer to work on several Brightstar Lottery products, focusing on backend programming and integration.

• Strong backend programming skills with expertise in Multi-threaded / Concurrency Java.
• Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and REST Web Services.
• Knowledge of tools and ecosystem including Apache Camel, JBoss, Apache, Maven, Docker, Git, and caching mechanisms.
• Practical experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Solid SQL skills, specifically with DB2 or PostgreSQL.
• Practical knowledge of Agile development principles.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to define technical solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Write clean, testable, and well-designed code to develop and integrate Brightstar Lottery products.
• Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and improve existing software modules.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and product management to design solutions and participate in customer PoCs and prototyping.
• Take an active role in development, delivery, code reviews, and planning activities.
• Partner with technical writers to enhance user manuals and create internal technical documentation.
