Lead Network Engineer

Currently, for one of our Partners, we are looking for an experienced Lead Network Engineer to support a long‑term project delivered for a European Union organization based in Amsterdam.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in public sector
• English C1

Certifications:

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise or Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate
• Azure Security Engineer Associate or Azure Administrator Associate

• Act as the senior technical authority responsible for the design, implementation and operation of enterprise networking across a hybrid environment spanning Client's infrastructure and multiple public cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Design, configure and operate enterprise network, cloud connectivity and network security services across Campus and multi-cloud environments
• Lead lifecycle management of network infrastructure components, including upgrades, security remediation and operational maintenance
• Act as senior escalation point for major incidents, troubleshooting and root cause analysis related to network and connectivity services
• Ensure coordinated execution of network infrastructure changes and assess cross-environment operational impacts
• Monitor operational performance and support compliance with agreed SLAs, KPIs and security requirements
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to network resilience, automation, optimisation and operational efficiency
• Provide technical guidance and act as the main technical counterpart for the contracting authority on enterprise network and connectivity services
