Tech Lead (Data Engineering)

• Degree in computer science, data engineering, information systems, or comparable field
• Several years of experience in data engineering with technical leadership or senior engineering responsibilities
• Strong expertise in data architecture, data modelling, and ETL/ELT processes
• Solid knowledge of Python, SQL, Spark, orchestration tools, and system design principles
• Nice to have: experience with cloud-based data platforms, modern data stack technologies, and CI/CD or DevOps practices
• Proactive and empathetic with clear communication skills in English (minimum B2 level)

• Take responsibility for technical direction of data platforms, particularly Databricks, ensuring scalability and reliability
• Implement critical components and frameworks
• Define coding standards and ensure best practices through hands-on engineering and code reviews
• Mentor and coach engineers
• Structure complex topics into actionable tasks
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess feasibility and estimate effort
• Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and deployment practices
• Drive innovation by evaluating new technologies and promoting automation and DevOps
• Identify and reduce technical debt
