DevOps Engineer

Duco Technology Poland Sp. z o.o. operates an enterprise data automation platform aimed at reducing the time spent on data-related work by 90%. The company serves large global financial institutions across multiple international offices, including London, New York, Wroclaw, Singapore, and Antwerp.

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform, or Build Engineering focusing on large-scale CI/CD and developer workflow optimization.
• Proven experience in observability design using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Jaeger/Tempo, OpenTelemetry, and Honeycomb.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, and Golang for automation and internal tooling.
• Experience designing and operating production CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of modern container build and packaging techniques including Docker, container optimisation, caching, and artifact management.
• Experience in cross-functional initiatives, shared libraries, and establishing practices and standards.
• Relevant certifications in DevOps, Kubernetes, and AWS are a plus.

• Own observability architecture by designing and implementing logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and OpenTelemetry.
• Drive SLO-based operations including establishing service level objectives, dashboards, and alerting frameworks.
• Build internal observability tools to assist engineering teams with instrumentation and issue diagnosis.
• Lead incident response efforts with troubleshooting and root cause analysis; participate in on-call duties.
• Support and contribute to CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI, Flux, and Helm.
• Ensure observability and delivery tooling integration with Kubernetes and cloud services.
• Collaborate and mentor teams to standardize instrumentation and raise observability standards organization-wide.
