Cloudera Solution Architect

Cyclad works with top international IT companies to deliver cutting-edge technologies. This role is for a project with a financial institution involving IT services, based in Warsaw, Poland, with remote work from Poland.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in data and cloud-based projects
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Data Architect in large-scale enterprise environments
• Strong track record delivering distributed data solutions across complex multi-vendor organizations
• Deep knowledge of distributed data platforms, especially Cloudera CDH/CDP or similar both on-premises and cloud
• Experience processing large datasets, streaming data, and unstructured sources including Cassandra, HBase, Kafka, and Spark
• Strong ETL and data pipeline experience with modern big data tools such as Airflow and NiFi or equivalents
• Strong programming background in Java, Python, or Scala
• Good knowledge of data architecture principles
• Ability to take lead and ownership of complex data deliveries
• Experience with API Exposure, Integration, Streaming, Change Data Capture
• Very good English language skills

• Financial services experience

• Lead design and delivery of data solutions within the bank's platforms on Cloudera in AWS
• Design end-to-end data lake and distributed data solutions
• Contribute to solution planning, effort estimation, and risk identification
• Review and guide solution designs by other architects and teams
• Promote best practices in data architecture, engineering, governance, and delivery
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and developers to translate data requirements into scalable solutions
• Present solution designs to the bank’s Architecture Review Board as needed
• Support and engage with non-factory solution architects on changes
• Ensure technical designs align with overall solution architecture and enterprise data strategy
• Support delivery leads in iterative solution delivery through sprints
• Support other engineering functions including mapping, building, testing, and release
• Review requirements and monitor change requests to maintain solution fitness
