Senior Azure Platform Engineer (Azure, DevOps, Terraform) / Warsaw

This role impacts delivering innovative cloud solutions for a leading UK retailer, supporting digital transformation and customer experience improvement, using modern cloud technologies.

Core Technical Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Practical experience with Azure Event Grid, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Container Apps
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform
• Strong understanding of microservices and cloud-native architectures

Platform Engineering & DevOps:

• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker
• Experience with API management and integration patterns
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights
• Understanding of high availability and fault-tolerant systems
• Skills in scalability and performance optimization
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices

Nice to have:

• Experience with Kubernetes (AKS) or advanced container orchestration
• Knowledge of event streaming patterns including Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs
• Experience with data engineering or distributed systems
• Experience with enterprise-scale cloud migrations and modernization

• Design and implement cloud-native platforms on Microsoft Azure
• Build event-driven architectures using Azure Event Grid and related services
• Develop scalable data solutions leveraging Azure Cosmos DB
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Azure Container Apps
• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of production environments
• Monitor system performance and optimize cost, availability, and resilience
• Collaborate with development, architecture, and DevOps teams to align platform capabilities with business requirements
