• Previous experience leading teams is required.
• Experience in remote team leadership is preferred.
• Expertise in managing operational risk and controls.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across diverse functions.
• Ability to analyze risk and control data for decision making.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidance and risk management frameworks.
• Ability to communicate complex risk information effectively.

General:

• Act as trusted advisor for senior management on operational risk including risk assessments, control environment, issues, and audits.
• Promote accountable risk and control decision-making based on quality data.
• Provide specialist risk and control knowledge to improve control environment and monitoring.
• Advise and design processes and controls effectively and commercially.
• Identify trends anticipating future developments in risk and control.
• Influence and shape risk management and regulatory frameworks.
• Update Senior Management on operational risk-related policy or project changes.

Stakeholder Management:

• Manage portfolios and embed risk and control management frameworks.
• Manage stakeholders across geographies, businesses, and functions.
• Present and report complex risk and control information to stakeholders.
• Oversee the health of the end-to-end control environment using professional judgment.
• Implement automated and cost-efficient controls.
• Advise and challenge stakeholders on controls and risks.

Functional Risk & Controls lead:

• Analyze risk and control information to provide insights and improvements.
• Deliver clear messages supporting risk and control decisions.
• Monitor and analyze control environment performance to improve controls.

GCIO CCO function:

• Support CCO operating model, procedures, and toolkits.
• Challenge control environment and risk assessments across GCIO.
• Ensure lessons from incidents are understood and acted upon.
• Embed risk culture and change delivery capability across GCIO CCO.

External environment:

• Identify trends and maintain awareness of regulatory guidance and expectations.

Leadership & Team Management:

• Lead teams with preferred remote leadership experience.
• Model organizational values, teamwork, and open communication.
• Promote diversity and brand-aligned environment.
• Energize others to achieve team outcomes and performance targets.
