Staff Software Engineer

Damisa is building a hi-tech global B2B payments and treasury platform integrating distributed ledger technology (blockchain) with traditional banking rails. The company is a remote-first, tech-led organization deeply focused on high-scale engineering and solving real problems efficiently.

• Experience with Node.js, PostgreSQL (Prisma)
• Knowledge of React, Next.js, TailwindCSS, shadcn/ui
• Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes
• Experience with Jest, Playwright testing frameworks
• Skilled in AI-assisted development workflows
• Bonus: Payments or fintech experience, Temporal, security, DevOps

• Architect secure, resilient systems capable of handling high-stakes financial operations
• Lead the architectural design and evolution of mission-critical distributed systems
• Drive technical strategy and long-term roadmap for core platform services
• Design high-concurrency, low-latency APIs and backend infrastructure
• Mentor and unblock other engineers
• Partner closely with product and business stakeholders
• Use modern LLMs and techniques to accelerate coding, debugging, testing, and design exploration
• Apply sound judgment to AI-generated output
• Improve reliability, testing, and developer experience
