Load and Performance Test Engineer (m/fd) || FlexHub

We are Commerzbank's internal delivery capability – a team of engineers, architects, analysts and experts working directly with business units. Based in Frankfurt, Sofia, and Łódź, we drive high-priority initiatives while building internal expertise that lasts.

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in performance testing
• Practical knowledge of LoadRunner (VuGen, Controller, Analysis) and ability to create and debug scripts (C, JavaScript, other languages supported by LoadRunner)
• Understanding of protocols: HTTP/HTTPS, REST API, SOAP
• Experience analyzing system metrics (CPU, RAM, DB, network)
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana — an asset)
• Ability to work with logs and analyze root causes of performance issues
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Fluency in English and Polish at minimum B2 level

Nice to have:

• Experience integrating performance tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Familiarity with alternative tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, k6)
• Experience working in cloud environments (Azure, AWS)
• Knowledge of system architecture (microservices, event-driven)
• Experience in the financial or banking sector

• Designing and conducting performance tests (load, stress, endurance)
• Creating and maintaining test scripts in LoadRunner (VuGen)
• Preparing test scenarios in LoadRunner Controller
• Monitoring systems during tests (APM, logs, metrics)
• Analyzing test results and identifying bottlenecks
• Preparing reports and optimization recommendations
• Collaborating with development, architecture, and DevOps teams
• Participating in test planning in the context of release changes
• Supporting automation of performance tests (CI/CD)
