The role is based in Kraków and involves working closely with deployment, platform, and operations teams.
Wymagania
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Strong Java development skills with Spring Framework.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Basic system design skillset.
- Deep understanding of metrics, logs, traces, alerting strategies, and performance monitoring.
- Experience with modern observability frameworks and standards such as OpenTelemetry.
- Knowledge of event-driven systems and event sourcing patterns.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with SQL databases and distributed systems concepts.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience in monitoring and observability tools.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and visualization platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Victoria Metrics, or New Relic.
- Experience troubleshooting complex distributed systems in production environments.
Obowiązki
- Design and implement metrics, logging, tracing, and telemetry solutions across cloud and edge components.
- Build monitoring pipelines, dashboards, and alerting frameworks providing actionable insights into deployment health, device status, and store operations.
- Define and maintain Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and reliability metrics for deployment services.
- Create operational analytics for deployment performance, software rollout progress, failure detection, and capacity planning.
- Integrate telemetry from cloud services, edge devices, deployment agents, and infrastructure components into centralized monitoring platforms.
- Build automated detection and root-cause analysis capabilities using modern observability practices and tooling.
- Develop self-service dashboards and reporting capabilities for engineering, support, and operations teams.
- Drive observability standards, instrumentation practices, and monitoring strategies across the Retail Platform ecosystem.
