Senior AI-DevOps Engineer

Relativity is a leading legal data intelligence company developing the AI-powered cloud platform RelativityOne, which transforms complex information into actionable insights for litigation, investigations, and regulatory inquiries. Their platform serves large law firms, corporations, and government agencies.

Required:

• 5+ years experience in software, DevOps, or platform engineering; 2+ years in cloud platforms or developer tooling
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks such as Pulumi, Terraform, Bicep, or CDK
• Strong DevOps fundamentals, including CI/CD pipeline design, GitHub Actions, container and Kubernetes basics, and observability
• Experience building REST APIs in Python (FastAPI or Flask), including OpenAPI documentation and authentication
• Knowledge of Azure fundamentals, Landing Zone patterns, identity and secret management
• Security-focused mindset addressing least-privilege IAM, secret rotation, auditability, and dependency hygiene
• Strong written English and async-first distributed team experience
• Senior-level ownership demonstrated through system end-to-end ownership, cross-team initiative leadership, mentoring, or building reusable platform patterns

Preferred:

• Experience with Pulumi Automation API, provider development, or multi-stack patterns
• Kubernetes access governance experience (RBAC, namespace governance, AKS)
• Experience in regulated/compliance environments (FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO 27001)
• Experience contributing to internal AI developer tooling (AI workflows, prompt libraries, coding assistants)

Main responsibilities:

• Design, build, and evolve reusable cloud provider patterns using Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Pulumi)
• Contribute to the platform’s REST API contract layer using Python / FastAPI
• Build and maintain CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions, including reusable workflows and OIDC authentication
• Partner with consumer and supplier teams to conduct discovery sessions and document integration patterns
• Track and communicate platform adoption metrics
• Use AI tooling in daily development workflows and internal AI-enabled engineering practices
• Participate in weekly on-call rotation, owning production incident response and root-cause analysis
• Produce documentation including onboarding guides, runbooks, and architectural decision records (ADRs)
