AVSystem serves Communications Service Providers (CSP) by building, testing, launching, and operating systems for telco customers. They maintain three major software components — UMP, BSAP, and DHCP — which contribute to the CSP solutions portfolio including ACS, Customer Experience Management, broadband activation, access layer assurance, and IPAM. Wymagania
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in full-stack software engineering, including at least 1 year with a JVM-based language like Java or Scala.
- Experience with the full software-development lifecycle.
- Working knowledge of software engineering and computer science principles, including algorithms and data structures.
- Readiness to work on both frontend and backend tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ownership of technical challenges.
- Passion for technology, responsibility, and willingness to learn and share knowledge.
- Proficiency in English and Polish languages.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Scala, TypeScript, MongoDB, Redis, Angular, Kafka.
- Knowledge of functional programming.
- Experience building distributed systems.
- Knowledge of computer networks.
Obowiązki
- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle: design, develop, review, QA, deploy, and support.
- Define and deliver technical key results for projects.
- Provide mentorship to other engineers, including code reviews, technical feedback, and buddying new/junior engineers.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and collaborate with product management, design, and site reliability teams.
- Conduct technical interviews for junior software engineering candidates.
- Provide developer support during office hours and participate in paid standby during production upgrades and maintenance.
