Technical Leader - Digital Health Platform, Secure Cloud

Roche Digital Technology (RDT) is a global team at the heart of Roche, focusing on powering Roche through cutting-edge digital technologies including artificial intelligence and data innovations. Roche offers a hybrid work model with offices in Warsaw and Poznan. The Secure Account Management (SAM) team manages cloud infrastructure and security for over 650 AWS accounts to support digital healthcare solutions with a focus on patient data security and privacy.

• Minimum 8 years of IT experience including at least 4 years of technical experience in architecture, software development, or operations of internet-scale SaaS products.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure including AWS IAM, AWS Organisation, and AWS Identity Center.
• Experience with cloud security services and infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, GitLab pipelines, and GitHub actions.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and modern software development processes including CI/CD and GitOps.
• Proficient in Bash, PowerShell, and Git.
• Experience in one or more of: Python, GoLang, Java, C, Ruby.
• Minimum 4 years of technical leadership experience including cloud security and serverless architectures using Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Step Functions, ECS, EKS.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, containerization, orchestration, and DevOps toolchains.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

• Own technical architecture and design decisions for SAM including landing zone design, account vending, IAM governance, and identity management using AWS Identity Center.
• Translate security architect requirements into engineering implementations such as Terraform modules and automation pipelines.
• Build reusable, self-service modules and APIs for platform consumers.
• Drive automation-first engineering replacing manual workflows with IaC and self-service tooling.
• Set and enforce technical standards including code review, pipeline design, testing practices, and documentation.
• Lead incident response including coordination, post-incident reviews, and reliability improvements.
• Mentor and grow engineering team members through design reviews, pairing, and feedback.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies, patterns, and AWS services.

This role is open only locally in Warsaw and Poznan with no relocation package. Only local candidates will be considered.
