Technical Product Owner - DHP Secure Cloud Access

Roche Digital Technology (RDT) is a global team at the heart of Roche focused on powering the company through cutting-edge digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, data, and scalable tech innovations for healthcare. The Secure Account Management (SAM) team manages cloud infrastructure, account provisioning, security, and governance supporting Roche's digital product portfolio, including over 650 AWS accounts. The team's goal is to enable fast, secure, and compliant healthcare solutions development across global AWS regions, ensuring patient data security and privacy as the highest priority.

• Minimum 8 years in IT, including at least 4 years in product leadership.
• Experience in software product management or ownership, preferably in platform or infrastructure contexts.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands across multiple stakeholders and align towards common goals.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience facilitating technical discussions involving DevOps, cloud security, and compliance.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Consulting, negotiation, and influencing skills to represent platform constraints while understanding customer pain.
• Familiarity with agile principles including Kanban and Scrum, backlog management, and agile delivery.
• Track record improving developer experience, documentation quality, or self-service in platform/infrastructure teams.
• Minimum 4 years of technical experience including hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Terragrunt, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions.
• Working knowledge of AWS Organizations, IAM, Identity Center, and cloud security services.
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices and security integration in development lifecycle.
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure in medium to large global enterprises.
• Previous roles as cloud engineer, DevOps engineer, SRE, architect, or technical lead.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of compliance such as information security, design control, and healthcare sector regulations (HIPAA, HITRUST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
• AWS Certifications (Developer, Solutions Architect, SysOps).
• Experience designing or operating multi-tenant platforms.
• Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus) and incident management.
• Experience with platform onboarding automation or internal developer portals.

• Own, prioritize, and communicate the product roadmap for the SAM cloud landing zone and associated services.
• Act as the voice of platform customers, gathering feedback and maintaining transparency on requests and prioritization.
• Drive platform evolution towards self-service, automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and API-first interfaces.
• Manage developer experience and documentation lifecycle to ensure user-centric, accurate documentation.
• Define and communicate change management practices including deprecation and migration support.
• Define and track success metrics such as platform adoption, onboarding time, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with security, compliance, and architecture teams to meet regulatory requirements (HIPAA, ISO 27001, GDPR, design controls).
• Contribute to extending cloud services to external partners including governance and onboarding automation.
